What is Melyon?
Melyon is scandinavian skincare jewel focused on bringing inclusivity in the beauty sphere. Melyon was created by Roger Dupé, a Swedish model. It is a beautiful homage to his west african roots from the brand name, to the star ingredient, to the packaging. Melyon’s name is a mixture of the English word “melanin” and from the togolese/ghanean expression “ enyonam” which mean “it is good for me”. Melyon was tailored for people of color while also being suitable for all skin complexions, genders.
This line of skincare products is inspired by the baobab tree also known as “the tree of life”. It is the inspiration behind sophisticated packaging and the star ingredient is the baobab oil, a regenerative and hydrating oil full of antioxidants.
We love Melyon because of how good our skin feels with each use of our favorite products from this brand. Not only are the products vegan, the packaging is sophisticated and sustainable.
